Over 6,000 Pos Malaysia Riders to Go Cashless with DuitNow QR for COD Payments
October 22, 2025

The rollout marks a key step in digitising COD services, offering a faster and more secure way for Malaysians to complete doorstep transactions.
Malaysians can now pay for their parcels in seconds as Pos Malaysia brings DuitNow QR to cash-on-delivery (COD) payments.
Through a partnership with fintech platform Fiuu and Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet), Pos Malaysia is enabling customers to settle COD payments by scanning a QR code on their smartphones.
Powered by Fiuu’s payment platform and leveraging PayNet’s DuitNow QR, the new feature removes the need for cash, allowing faster and more secure doorstep transactions.
More than 6,000 Pos Malaysia riders across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak are being equipped to accept DuitNow QR payments.
The move also helps reduce issues such as manual cash handling, providing change, and the risk of missing or stolen funds.
Developed by PayNet, DuitNow QR is Malaysia’s national QR standard and supports cross-border transactions with platforms including Alipay+, Weixin Pay, UnionPay QR, QRIS, NETS, and PromptPay.
With Fiuu’s cross-border capabilities, Pos Malaysia can also serve international customers while benefiting from domestic payment rates.
Pos Malaysia, which delivers more than 30 million parcels a year, said the introduction of cashless COD payments modernises Malaysia’s parcel and payments ecosystem while enhancing convenience and efficiency for customers, riders, and merchants.
“Through this partnership, Fiuu is at the forefront of driving Malaysia’s digital economy forward. We are committed to delivering secure, innovative, and customised payment solutions that not only benefit consumers and merchants but also support Pos Malaysia in expanding its COD offering for e-commerce sellers.
By converting to DuitNow QR, Fiuu can automate the cashless collection reconciliation process, paving the way for more seamless and efficient transactions. This is more than just a payment solution, it’s a significant step toward reshaping the future of the e-commerce industry.”
