Affin Bank Partners Fiuu To Boost SME Growth, Digital Economy

Affin Bank Bhd has entered a strategic partnership with Fiuu, Malaysia’s largest digital payments platform, to accelerate small and medium enterprises (SMEs) growth and support the nation’s digital economy agenda.

Under the agreement, Affin Bank is the official bank partner for Fiuu’s Merchant Recruitment Partner Plus initiative, enabling merchants within Fiuu’s ecosystem to access an integrated suite of financial services in addition to digital payment solutions, strengthening their ability to scale operations.

Through the partnership, Affin Bank will also offer products such as business current accounts, corporate internet banking, payroll services and SME-focused advisory via SMEColony. These solutions are expected to increase deposits, boost transaction volumes and broaden the Bank’s SME outreach.

“This partnership reinforces our role as a driver of Malaysia’s cashless ecosystem while providing SMEs with the financial tools to thrive in today’s competitive environment,” said Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah, President & Group CEO of Affin Group.

Meanwhile, Fiuu Chief Executive Officer Eng Sheng Guan said the collaboration enhances value for businesses.

“We’ve always focused on simplifying payments. With Affin Bank on board, SMEs now gain seamless access to banking solutions that complement their digital transactions and future growth,” Eng said.

Both individuals emphasised that the partnership represents a significant milestone in bridging fintech innovation with traditional banking to promote financial inclusion and digital adoption nationwide.
