Samsung Pay Goes Fully Online in Malaysia with Fiuu
November 28, 2025

Samsung Pay has been in Malaysia for a few years already. Today, Samsung Malaysia is excited to announce that this service has expanded beyond in-store payments in Malaysia, now supporting online transactions across a wide range of e-commerce merchants.
This rollout is powered by Fiuu, Southeast Asia’s leading payment service provider, which provides the acquiring infrastructure to enable seamless online acceptance. Sectors include food and beverage, pharmacy, health and wellness, entertainment, fashion, electronics, travel, and lifestyle. More e-commerce sites are expected to be added in the near future.
Simplified Checkout for Consumers and Merchants
Consumers can now complete online purchases using Samsung Pay with a single, frictionless checkout experience. For merchants, integrating Samsung Pay opens access to a large base of Samsung device users and aligns with mobile-first consumer behaviour.
Fiuu’s multi-bank acquiring infrastructure ensures that merchants can process payments from 11 supported banks in Malaysia via a single integration, making online adoption straightforward and scalable. Samsung Pay is also now available on Samsung’s own online store.
Samsung Rewards Points Extend to Online Payments
A major feature of this expansion is that Samsung Pay online transactions earn Samsung Rewards Points, just like in-store purchases. Previously, many mobile wallet payments only offered loyalty points for physical transactions, but this integration bridges the gap between online and offline spending. Rewards Points can be used in two main ways:
- Redeem items or vouchers from the Samsung Rewards catalogue, including selected food, beverage, and Samsung products.
- Offset the cost of a new Samsung device, allowing users to reduce the price of their next purchase based on accumulated points.
- This creates a rewards-driven cycle: pay via Samsung Pay → earn points → redeem rewards or upgrade devices, encouraging continuous use.
Strengthening Malaysia’s Digital Payment Ecosystem
The expansion comes as Malaysian consumers increasingly embrace digital payments. By enabling a mobile-wallet-first experience for online commerce, Samsung and Fiuu provide a secure, seamless, and widely compatible online payment channel, supporting the growth of Malaysia’s digital economy while offering additional value to both consumers and merchants.
