Gift Card

Point-of-Sale-Activated (POSA) Gift Card technology enables retailers to create prepaid cards for various products and services in PIN format. It eliminates the need for cumbersome control procedures associated with maintaining an inventory of value-bearing cards.

This technology also reduces the risk of theft and shrinkage when displaying prepaid cards for sale, giving retailers increased visibility for gift cards. With POSA technology, retailers can create customized card designs to enhance Gift Card marketing.

In February 2014, Fiuu partnered with InComm, a US-based prepaid product provider, to launch POSA gift card mall solutions in Southeast Asia. POSA solutions are now available in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.

*To activate a gift card, cashiers scan the unique 32-digit barcode using the merchant's Offline Payment Services' POS system and terminal. Buyers can then instantly use the gift card to purchase digital content.
