COMPANY NEWS
Why Payment Dependability Is the Next Business Differentiator
Digital payments are already firmly established across Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Malaysia recorded 18.4 billion e-payment transactions in 2025, Singapore’s digital payment adoption reached 92%, and the Philippines’ digital payments market was valued at US$616.3 million. These figures show how quickly payment behavior has changed. The next competitive advantage comes from how reliably businesses complete transactions during peak demand.
Customers expect prompt confirmation, clear payment status, and a checkout that continues to perform during peak campaigns. Fiuu’s CEO, Eng Sheng Guan, explains why payment dependability now forms part of campaign readiness, customer confidence and the wider brand experience, and why offering more payment methods alone is no longer enough.
Make Ongoing Billing Easier with Tokenized Recurring Payments
[SOUTHEAST ASIA] Service businesses with memberships, maintenance plans, tuition fees, or subscriptions need a practical way to collect authorized payments on agreed schedules. Fiuu Recurring Payments tokenizes card credentials after the customer’s initial authorized payment, allowing eligible subsequent charges to be processed without requiring customers to enter the same card details during every billing cycle. Merchants also receive notifications of successful or unsuccessful payment attempts, helping them monitor collections and make ongoing service and billing arrangements easier for both the business and its customers.

Help Customers Complete Card Payments Faster with Click to Pay
[SOUTHEAST ASIA] Customers can lose momentum when card checkout on a website or mobile commerce site requires repeated form entry or too many steps. With Click to Pay enabled through Fiuu, eligible merchants can offer a checkout experience where customers use securely stored or tokenized card credentials instead of manually entering their card number for every purchase. Built on EMVCo standards and supported by card-network security and authentication mechanisms, the solution can help make card payments quicker and easier to complete across web and mobile commerce sites. Depending on the card network and issuer, customers may be verified using methods such as a one-time passcode, device recognition, or app approval. This gives returning and mobile-first customers a more direct checkout experience.

Build a More Balanced Revenue Mix with Additional Value-Added Services
[MALAYSIA] Businesses that rely on one main product category may have fewer ways to generate value from customers with different needs. Through Fiuu, merchants can provide telco and e-wallet reloads, utility and bill payments, international airtime, game credits, and productivity tools. Adding these services gives retailers, service counters, and e-commerce businesses another category of paid offerings alongside their core offerings, helping them diversify transaction revenue and respond to a broader range of customer requests through the same business operation.
